The wedding of Heather and Ian was my last wedding of 2015, in the middle of November the great British weather prevented us from getting any photographs outside, but that didn't stop us getting lots of lovely images.
This wedding was very different to all my other weddings this year. Firstly, it was the first wedding where both the bride and groom were grandparents. It was also the first wedding I have photographed where the bride received a round of applause when she got to the aisle! Finally, it was the only wedding where out of the corner of my eye I noticed the groom taking a photograph of his bride on his phone. - Sometimes the little things like that just move you.
Heather and Ian are genuinely a lovely couple, it didn't take me long to see that! Unfortunately, there was some sad news not long after this wedding, which makes me grateful I was there to capture this beautiful day for them and give them memories of it they can keep forever.
Thank you to Ian and Heather for choosing me to photograph your wedding, it was an absolute honour and I wish you a very happy future together.
